This weekend I’m at the Scottish Queer International Film Festival, where High Heels Aren’t Compulsory won Best Scottish Short two years ago. I am still immensely grateful to Annabel and Jo and everyone else who contributed to making my screenplay into a real thing. Last night at the SQIFF party Annabel and I were hugging each other and grinning like big kids.
